Many years later, with better color and material technique, using shades of ocher in the background, aluminum, rope and pebbles in a larger-size format, I created this line of work. Two compositions complement each other: the curve representing femininity and the grid representing masculinity, united by the harmony between their shapes and colors. “Complemento” is a balance that ought to be harmonious between tension and freedom. It means that each person builds his/her own life, but together we are the two engines that make the same wing beat.
